What is Lérez Up?
Lérez Up is the Pontevedra Video Game and Geek Culture Convention, organised in collaboration with Pontevedra’s Council and Gaming Troop. After four editions, this event is now firmly established as a meeting place across generations, for families, young and adult people passionate for videogames, cosplay, japanese culture and alternative hobbies. An essential event that will take place once again in September 2026 at the Pontevedra Exhibition Centre (Recinto Feiral).
After reaching a total of 5,500 attendees in 2025, Lérez Up returns this year with an upgraded schedule that combines the best of previous editions with new activities, themed zones and local partnerships. Some of the activities that cannot be missed will be the Cosplay and K-Pop contests, and the national Smash Bros Ultimate tournament.
Meet the organisers
Gaming Troop is a non-profit organisation based in Pontevedra, founded in 2016, which focuses on organising events related to video games and alternative culture. It has its own venue in the city, where it carries out its activities throughout the year.
Lérez Up was launched in 2022 as a space open to everyone, bringing together gaming, art, technology and community. In addition to this event, Gaming Troop organises other activities throughout the year in other cities around Galicia.
